Violence Prevention
Violence Prevention works to decrease the number of people in our »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ who experience interpersonal violence, which includes sexual assault, harassment, dating and domestic violence and stalking.
We work to empower every member of the St. Thomas »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ to play an active role in violence prevention and increase individuals' ability to respond compassionately to victim/survivors of sexual violence.
Within Violence Prevention, we believe that every member of the St. Thomas »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ should experience a life free from any form of sexual and/or relationship violence. That’s why we’re focused on:
- Decreasing the number of people in our »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ who experience sexual and/or relationship violence.
- Facilitating workshops on healthy masculinity, bystander intervention, and healthy relationships.
- Increasing the ability of all members of our »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ to respond compassionately to victim/survivors of sexual violence, dating & domestic violence and stalking.
- Empowering members of the St. Thomas »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ to play an active role in violence prevention.
